We’re kicking off the new year with a fresh start and four major updates to enhance your event planning experience. Our newest updates will help planners streamline event setup, leverage more options for event production, and provide new ways to engage their audience. Platform redesign The Webex Events platform has undergone a major revamp, and it’s better than ever! With a new menu structure and improved design throughout the platform, it’s easier than ever for you to navigate and find what you need. Plus, we’ve simplified the event creation process, so you can spend less time on setup and more time curating the perfect event. Build your next Event in just 11 clicks With just a few simple steps, you’ll be off and running. Enter your event’s basic information, choose a theme color and whether you want dark mode or not, upload a logo, and you’re done! With the Webex Events platform, you can easily clone any Event, and the platform will automatically pull in all the previously selected options you used, eliminating the need to clone each product separately. In short, this redesign makes it much simpler to create and clone Events and Communities, saving you time and effort and making it easier to focus on the important stuff — planning an amazing event that your attendees will love! Real-time metrics to help you stay ahead of the game Once you’ve created your event, you’ll be taken to our new event overview page where you can set up the Registration, Onsite, Event App, Lead Retrieval, and Live Display. As your event approaches, the activity section will keep you updated on key metrics that link to each related product metrics page. The useful links section will provide you with helpful resources such as videos, articles, and learning courses, based on the products you’ve activated and how close your event date is. This new design makes product management within Webex Events simple and easy. Webex Events Production Studio (Beta) The all-new Webex Events Production Studio is the ultimate solution for fully customizable and branded live streaming. Webex Events Production Studio allows you to connect with your audience and create a truly immersive and engaging experience for them. You can fully brand your stream with your own colors, logos, overlays, and backgrounds. With features such as multiple layout options, screen sharing, and integrated chat and Q&A, you can drive actions and create a more interactive experience for your audience. Your end-to-end product for live streaming Simplicity and reliability are at the core of Webex Events Production Studio. Whether you’re tech-savvy or not, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to create professional live streams. Share pre-recorded content and presentations with ease, from pre-event hype videos and custom countdowns to sponsor reels and more.Attendee Lobby Introducing the newest addition to our Event App: Attendee Lobby! The Lobby is your virtual event’s welcome center, where attendees can get all the information they need to navigate the rest of the app. Just like walking into a physical event venue, attendees will be greeted with signs, information, and welcome messaging. The Lobby feature is a new and innovative way for attendees to orient themselves in the Event App. It’s easy to customize and personalize for different types of attendees, and it makes the virtual or in-person event even more engaging and interactive. Bring all of your event information together in one place The Lobby links to the most important content of your Event App, such as agenda sessions, speakers, and sponsors, making it the perfect starting point for attendees to explore the rest of your event. With multiple different modules to choose from, such as a countdown timer, cover image, agenda sessions, live streams, speakers, sponsors, and more, you can create a unique and personalized experience for your attendees. You can even add the Lobby feature multiple times and limit each instance to specific attendee groups to create customized experiences for different types of attendees.Want to learn more? Our new registration feature now allows you to restrict registrations to specific companies or block certain email domains like @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, and more. This feature is perfect for ensuring that only the right people register for your events. Simply enter the domains you want to allow or block, separated by a comma, and customize the onscreen message that appears when registrants try to register with an email domain that isn’t allowed.
