Closed captions and translations for video on demand 

Our first update is the addition of closed captions and translations for video on demand. 

We added this feature for live streaming, simulive, and production studio events last year. Now, we’re excited to extend closed captioning and translations to video on demand as well. 

With the click of a button, you can turn on closed captions and translations in over 30 languages for your simulive and video on demand videos. When video center content is added to a live stream feature or live stream agenda session, closed captions and translations become available.  

This will make your content more accessible to a wider audience and enhance their viewing experience.

Embeddable content widgets 

The second update is the ability to embed content widgets from your event app on external websites. This feature allows you to effortlessly showcase important information about your event, such as speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors, on your website or other external sites. 

Gone are the days of manually adding and updating information on multiple websites! With Webex Events, you can create widgets, choose the items you want to include, and embed the widget code in external sites.  

If you make any changes to items that appear in widgets, the widgets update automatically with no need to update any code. This feature saves you time and effort while keeping your event information up-to-date and accurate.
